That title is pure poetry. The post could have ended with "Upon hearing this, the programmer was enlightened." :^)

"How much time does it take to sort icons if nobody is there to see it?"

"If an algorithm runs in a machine and no output device is around to show it, does it make a computation?"

My thoughts exactly when I program Chrome, in headless mode and with no UI, to scroll and click on a button.
