Nowadays, it seems only a narrow, even more constrained, side of each party is allowed by big tech and major media pundits, towards even more homogeneity.
Now it seems only one of the two parties' side are allowed in mass media, coporate speak, anymore (which includes the Dems "deep party" killing off Berny's chances - not that he put much of a fight in the end).
From outside the USA, it's quite puzzling how the staid factual Republicans have disappeared from view. There once was a sizable "fiscal responsibility" movement within the party, for example. People might disagree strongly with AOC and were at the same time married to accuracy. Many of them talked like central bankers.
Where are they now? Nowadays the view from outside shows the left wing narrative and a bunch of wild liars. The most important right-wing politician is someone who told almost thirty thousand lies in public.
If you want to be seen as ok, don't tell thirty thousand lies, not even if you also say or do something good, and don't nominate a candidate who goes on to tell thirty thousand lies, because it rubs off on the party that nominated that candidate. Find a non-left-wing narrative that stays away from lies.
Any efforts to build something like this out there?
