Cuomo aide admits NY state hid nursing home data so feds wouldn’t find out

Good thing he wrote a book on leadership while making this decision!

It’s amazing how effective his press conferences were at building back up his public image in the face of his objective failure.

What’s really depressing is how many people hopped on his side when they really should’ve known better. He’s not competent, he can just hold a press conference without doing something totally embarrassing during it.

Cuomo's response in March 2020 was a complete failure of governance. However, his team worked the media to paint a picture of leadership, when in fact his actions were nowhere close to leading but rather trailing in light of the data that was available at the time.

How is "we were hiding from the DOJ" supposed to make anything better, not much much worse? If this is what politicians making amends looks like, they're operating at a staggering baseline level of corruption.

Ah, but they were hiding from Trump's DOJ so it's ok.
