Please don't put "Show HN" in the title unless you're sharing your personal work. That's what Show HN means!

yes! my mistake! apologies!

No worries—since the author posted it now, I'll move the relevant comments thither.

Thank you! :)

Another project that quietly reinforces the error that Git = GitHub.

(Show HNs are also for personal projects, not the work of other people.)

If you like this, I do a weekly roundup of open source projects that includes an interview with one of the devs you can subscribe to.

FYI, I don't think you can submit someone else's project as a Show HN. See the rules here: https://news.ycombinator.com/showhn.html

(I'm not the creator, but am friends with the creator who is 'Jarred on here)

oh really?! I wasn't aware of that rule! my bad :(.

Jarred posted this on another project that I posted and I thought it was awesome so I wanted to share.

What do I do? I don't want to delete it since it seems to be getting traction.

Can you please stop posting promotionally like this? https://hn.algolia.com/?dateRange=all&page=0&prefix=true&que...

It's not what this site is for, and HN users eventually have an allergic reaction and start using the s-word.

This is in the site guidelines: "Please don't use HN primarily for promotion. It's ok to post your own stuff occasionally, but the primary use of the site should be for curiosity."
