Is there some interesting backstory to sharing this? Is there an interesting item on the long list somewhere?
Personally, I found the list in general interesting—I wasn’t aware that a lot of these were originally trademarks. Escalator, flip phone, hovercraft; I just assumed that these were the basic term for those things. Learning that they weren’t is interesting in its own right.
Crazy how many common terms like comic con or appstore are trademarked.
Also funny how Heroin is a brandname.
