Apple Inc. settles logo dispute with Prepear

Amazing that somebody or some people went to 20 years of school to get a law degree and they now spend their time and skills targeting competing fruit logos for a company that makes computers but somehow owns the word and likeness of a fruit.

This is deeply concerning since my next startup was planning to use this leaf shape, the logo would present a banana with aforementioned leaf and the name we were planning to trademark is called "Going Bananas". Sad day that the biggest fruity company stifles innovation for everyone, when everyone and their dog knows that healthy intake of vitamins are important to strengthen you immune system and fight of nasty viruses. /s

On the serious note, they forced Prepear to make their logo worse just because, cheap publicity or what is it?

I would never want to go up against Apple’s legal team but looking at the resolution it’s disappointing. I can’t help but see an emotional difference in the presentation of the new logo.
