Why Does It Matter If Interest Rates Are Below the GDP Growth Rate?

If you remove stimulus and money printing, real GDP probably shrank last year. These numbers are as faked as the employment stats at this point...but the idea that the world's largest economy is shrinking would be a massive shock to digest.
