Let's face it - religions(for the most part) have acted to get rid of competing religions that cold grow at their expense. Communism acts like any religion in this manner - kill root, branch and stem.
I can only hope that the Chinese can gradually eliminate communism as the old guard dies off? Sadly, they are training a many tiered cadres of replacements...
