German Nuns Sold Orphaned Children to Sexual Predators: Report

If you're a priest or a nun or whatever, don't you have an exam at some point with questions like this:
(1) True or false: God is real.
(2) True or false: Hell is real.
(3) True or false: God will send you to Hell if you sexually abuse children.
Let's denote by S the set of people who are career church, i.e. priests / nuns, and denote by T the set of child abusers. Clearly these two sets must be disjoint because the child abusers must have answered False to at least one of these questions (otherwise they wouldn't abuse children for fear of going to Hell), and the career church folks must have answered True to all of the questions (otherwise they failed basic religious doctrine and wouldn't have been allowed to graduate from priest/nun school).
QED, maybe, but then why are there so many reports of horrific abuse in the church? Where's the flaw in the proof?
Whether or not you go to hell depends entirely on whether or not you're saved through faith in Jesus Christ. What you do during your life has no bearing at all on the fate of your immortal soul, because the default fate of all humans, no matter how morally they live or how evil they are, is an eternity of hellfire due to original sin.
And yes, that means that every priest who ever molested a child still goes to Heaven. They just get, like, a stern talking to from the Almighty or something.
And add to that, any abusive priest knows that the Church will go out of its way to protect them.
