Who Built the Egyptian Pyramids? Not Slaves

At a minimum, they would be wage slaves since ancient Egypt didn't have a proper social safety net to deal with the economic cycles caused by the flooding of the Nile.
By that definition, Google was also built by slaves.
During that thousand years of pyramid construction, some of the monuments were recorded to have used slave labor for construction. Notably, the Annals of Amenemhat II record of a expedition into the levant where two towns were destroyed and the survivors were brought back into Egypt and put to work building the White Pyramid.
So the story of Moses out of Egypt has definitively been disproven by the word 'think.'
I would encourage people to use critical thinking skills while reading this article.
Of course slave labor was used over the thousand year period these structures were built. Perhaps not all the workers were slaves but some percentage of them were.
This article merely points to the existence of some popular contractors at the time. Contractors who most likely used their own slave labor.
What's the definition of a slave in Egyptian times? What would prove or disprove their existence 4000 years ago? This is not a logical or reasonable article. It makes far too many assumptions. It should be rewritten and the findings described without the interpretation of the author.
Has the story of Moses out of Egypt been definitively proven?
There are over 100 pyramids in Egypt, build over a time span of at least a thousand years. How can we be so sure that not one of them had foreign slaves working on the construction?
When the article asks "Did slaves build the pyramids?", interpreting that question as "Was there a single slave among the people who built the pyramids?" is not a very meaningful or useful interpretation of the question.
What does (or would) evidence of slavery look like?
Second, the Bible never claims the Jews built pyramids. The Bible only says they made bricks.
>6 The same day Pharaoh commanded the taskmasters of the people and their foremen, 7 “You shall no longer give the people straw to make bricks, as in the past; let them go and gather straw for themselves. 8 But the number of bricks that they made in the past you shall impose on them, you shall by no means reduce it, for they are idle. Therefore they cry, ‘Let us go and offer sacrifice to our God.’
Doesn't say which people, certainly doesn't imply slavery. The people the Pharaoh addresses seem to be foremen. And it only implies that the people addressed were distributing straw, not making bricks.
6 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,
7 Ye shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as heretofore: let them go and gather straw for themselves.
8 And the tale of the bricks, which they did make heretofore, ye shall lay upon them; ye shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.
If you read the full chapter it is extremely clear the people refers to to the Hebrews. It also clearly says that they have to make the same number of bricks. Unless you are suggesting that they were making no bricks and they are supposed to continue to make zero bricks. If that is the case then they would not need to get any straw in the first place.
I am not sure if you are just misreading this or if you are just trolling.
I watched a youtuber travel through Egypt, and it looks like a third world country. He was getting harassed for money, stopped by police and so on. Pretty much same as my female friend told me when she travelled there.
It doesn't instil much confidence its the same people, if they are able to accomplish so little with modern technology. That Could accomplish so much with such primitive technology.

The fact is modern people is still not able to build the great pyramid of Giza with such precision and within proposed timeline.
And it’s not just the pyramid but there are simple things such as a block of granite, like the unfinished obelisk, weighting 1200 tons. The strongest mobile crane in the world that could operate on sand would still struggle immensely when trying to lift that, moving it few hundred meters would be demanding project. But they say these blocks came from hundreds of miles away, across Nile and over some mountain. We do not have capability to do that today. Not even close. But don’t believe me but do some research on your own.
Historians and archeologists have no idea what they’re looking at. Their stories are the incredible fantasies that defy laws of physics and basic engineering.
It’s just too much for many people to entertain the idea that our civilization probably isn’t the first advanced one.
For example, I by no means think our civilization is the first advanced one, and I also have a loosely-held belief that there used to be more humans on this planet than there are now. But I'm always looking for new information and revisiting those beliefs.
Nobody is saying that the pyramids aren't a fantastic work of engineering, they absolutely are! But over-stating the case, as if building them is still far out of our reach, and therefore they can only be the work of aliens or whatever, that's just not supported by current evidence. Much has been learned, even within the last ten years, that make it clear that the pyramids were definitely buildable at the time using available technology, by some very, very clever people.
My only point was that human being in 2021 may not capable of replicating the great pyramid of Giza.
We even don’t have technology to move some of the rocks that has been put in place thousands of years ago.
This is not even my opinion but people who build skyscrapers say they couldn’t do it. They have no idea how they did it. I believe them rather than you, sorry.
But you’re right that they were very very clever people back in the past. More clever than we are today.
It’s one thing to pile the rocks and create perfectly symmetrical pyramid.
Where it becomes more difficult is when you start considering all the details. Such as those two shafts going through the structure. How they made them SO straight? Did they made them after piling up the rocks? What tool could do that? Did they create the shafts while piling up the rocks? That’s equally impressive!
What about the acoustic properties of grand gallery? How you would achieve such perfect resonance having musical octave with twelve semitones in the design?
That’s just scratching surface. More we look into the structure more it looks like a device than anything else.
According to official timeline and amount of stones they should place one in every few hours. You realize that you have to be absolutely perfect with the stones, as if you make little mistake near the base then the tip is not going to be in the center. But it’s so precisely in the center it would be a amazing achievement even today.
Dimensions and proportions contain speed of light, size of Earth etc. It’s aligned with true north being just fraction of a degree off, something we need satellite data to do. And so on..
And there are those rocks in the desert we could not transport today. But everyone can believe only what they want to believe. I want to believe we are not very advanced yet comparing to our ancestors. It gives me hope.
Moving very big rocks doesn't need to involve aliens. Using water and ramps and rollers, we could move them. That a documentarian couldn't figure out how doesn't mean it isn't possible.
Yes, we need satellite data to get that level of precision.
When we’re talking about 1200 ton single block of granite on soft sand, we just don’t move it. Ok. We don’t take it over mountain and over river.
There was huge project in California when they transported 340 ton rock. They needed satellite data to find a route that was flat enough as their specially built transporter wasn’t able to take it up hill at all.
The reality is: you cannot fit enough slaves under such rock to lift it. How ancients were able to transport these rocks in your opinion?
They used satellite data and a specially-built transporter, which is not the same thing as it only being possible to do with satellite data and a specially-built transporter. When you have simple tools at hand, you figure out how to do things with simple tools. When you have a large budget and advanced technology at hand, you figure ou how to do things in a way that consumes the entire budget.
You're very, very invested in the idea that aliens or whatever built these things, so clearly nothing will convince you. But we are continually making new discoveries about these things, and so far there really is nothing that requires anything more than very, very clever thinkers and simple machines.
Believe what you want to believe, but know that the research isn't on your side.

Clearly we follow quite different kind of researchers and see things from different perspectives. Which is great, I hope your way works for you as well as my way works for me :)
Ask them how would they transport 1200 ton block on soft sand over a mountain :)
But not in 11 days, or half that if not for city traffic.
