The insult is uncalled for. The article is untrustworthy because of the apparently biased and immoral nature of the publisher. The fact that they are conservative is a convenient thing to hide behind as a defense, but it is irrelevant. If they presented the same tabloid irrationality and hatred but with a liberal or non-political flavor, I would have the same opinion of them. There being something factually correct about this is a uselessly low bar for judgement.
