The Navy Just Filed Patents for New Superweapons

If they were serious about this, it would have had a Government Secrecy Order slapped on it using the Invention Secrecy Act of 1951. Given there were 5,915 such orders at the end of 2020 and they must be renewed each year, I don't think the US government is shy abut using them.

This research puts me in mind of the ESP research by both the Soviets and the US in the 1960s (or thereabouts). They were looking for secret communications between the Earth and Space, or between other locations by the military.
