Is GM just a vaporware mill at this point?

Hummer pickup - CG rendered in commercial, no working vehicle exists

Cruise self-driving - numerous timelines posted and abandoned

GM/Nikola - a masterclass in vaporware, only called off after a third-party pulled back the curtain

Cadillac Flying Car - literally just a photoshop render

Could be the spark to build a cottage industry which can preserve the gasoline or diesel models of the early 2030's for as many decades as possible after that.

In 2130 these will be the still-roadworthy Model T's of today.

GM plans to declare bankruptcy 2036.
