Microsoft is mocking now doomed Apple Touch Bar

Most programmers I know are tend to be seeking muscle memory for editing, and the touch bar adds nothing for that, but rather takes away useful keys.
I’ve sometimes gone as far (as quite a few people do) as to reprogram an external keypad to give me instant access to editor commands.
However, when I’m not programming, i tend to be much more deliberative and quite like the idea of having basic app functions available dynamically on the keyboard.
It would be interesting to know whether anyone liked it.
What does it do in XCode?
