I'm confused by the word "the" in "the polar orbit". Shouldn't it just "polar orbit" without the "the"?

Yes, the title implies there is a single polar orbit when polar orbit could be one of many orbits with particular characteristics (passes over/near the poles). It's awkwardly worded

Why?
