Apple Warns on Danger of iPhone 12 Handset to Some Users

That headline is a bit clickbaity, no? It is technically accurate, but the danger is specific to people with certain types of implanted medical equipment, and the risk comes from the magnets in the device, as opposed to some fault or otherwise.

I suppose "Apple publishes warning documentation about interference with medical equipment when using devices with magnets inside" doesn't quite roll off the tongue. Especially when the text specifies that "they’re not expected to pose a greater risk of magnetic interference to medical devices than prior iPhone models."

It says, “ Though all iPhone 12 models contain more magnets than prior iPhone models, they’re not expected to pose a greater risk of magnetic interference to medical devices than prior iPhone models.” doesn’t that mean that they are saying iPhone 12 is poses no greater risk than the first iPhone released and every iPhone release in between for over a decade? So no new dangers just they are now formally writing about the risk all iPhones have always had for people with pacemakers?

So are these model iPhones inadvisable for hospital workers?
