Ask HN: Why is graymirror.substack.com/Curtis Yarvin shadow-banned on HN?

I banned it a while ago because it seemed obvious that there would be no non-flamewar threads about these articles, and HN isn't a site for flamewars.

Re the other comments in this thread: no moderators did anything—we didn't even see this post until someone just pointed it out. The question about /ask is in the FAQ: https://news.ycombinator.com/newsfaq.html (see "Why hasn't my submission appeared on Ask HN or Show HN?")

And, now this post has been shadow-banned. Lovely.

Update: Up again in "new", still missing from "ask". Thanks mod-in-the-sky.

Update 2: Now showing up in "ask" too.

Still visible as far as I can see.

Thanks! It appears to now be visible in "new", but not in "ask." Weird.

Update: Now it's in "ask" too.

I saw this post in ask.

Is Curtis Yarvin the person banned on HN?

It's not the substack.com domain I assume—isn't Substack part of Y Combinator? I use their "share" button to share articles directly on HN…

Does HN shadow-ban any other writers on Substack? Or is it just Yarvin…

Is there a place I can go to find domains and people banned on HN?

The substack.com domain isn't banned, but it looks like graymirror.substack.com is (mostly): https://news.ycombinator.com/from?site=graymirror.substack.c...

Just like mises.org: https://news.ycombinator.com/from?site=mises.org
