Chrome keeps pushing standards despite objections

FF is down from 4.39% in Dec '19 to 3.77% Dec '20

Safari is up from 17.68% to 19.25% (up only on iOS where it's the only engine).

Mozilla doesn't have the resources to implement.

Safari wants to keep their walled garden of apps.

I just discovered gnu icecat (a gnu fork of mozilla). will try it out and report back.
