With all the hype around RISC-V - and a slightly worrying trend of thinking that a RISC-V CPU is automatically "open" - it's interesting to look at a completely open (rtl, spec, the lot) industrial-quality CPU core.
Enjoyed programming SPARC but today, the taint of Oracle is terrifying. I assume they'd like to charge me royalties on the fond memories I have from Sun's days.
