Worst Revolution Ever

I think it is easy to make fun of these folks as goofy and weird.

But history is full of revolutions and their followers who are a little odd.

People who are happy and comfortable aren't usually your typical ground level revolutionary right?

I'm not sure we should be all that comforted by how odd these people are.

The qualifications to be US President are: 35 years old, US-born, 14 years in residence, never impeached.

Maybe, just maybe, that's not enough qualification to be eligible for such a complex job, serving 100s of millions of people, with such a huge budget, and so much that has to be balanced. Experience ordering around 'underlings' isn't enough for this job. 'Charisma' isn't experience.

Evidence of fitness would help. Significant elected public governing experience might provide a record of success as evidence.

Maybe, just maybe, there should be some way to get rid of a Bozo (like the UK has).

Because it wasn't a "revolution" or insurrection, that's inane. It was a bunch of bozos who rioted. What they did was just a massive embarrassment to the establishment that had written them off as buffoons.

Amusingly, we have decided NOT to use the word "insurrection" for the conversation Nancy Pelosi apparently had with the Joint Chiefs to subvert the nuclear chain of command based on nothing more than her personal whim. Stealing a podium? Sedition! Stealing nuclear launch codes? Meh.

Amazingly, this story is feeding on itself as it gets repeated. At first they were vandals, then insurrectionist...by next week they'll be an existential threat to life on Earth and people will be calling for the death penalty for everyone in attendance.

Control yourself people! The Bonus Army occupied the Capitol too and you've probably never even heard of them.

Fear not, the MAGAtards will be behind bars and the world will be safe for you to curl up with the writings of Trotsky delivered to your doorstep by someone earning minimum wage.
