I generally end up writing a script like this everytime I need a non-throwaway domain. List of roots, maybe lists of prefixes/suffixs, etc. If I'm feeling ambitious, I throw in an automated whois lookup :-P

Bookmarked this for the next time I need a name, to save myself the hassle...

Thanks :)

I've been doing something similar when randomly searching for domains for weekend projects. Then I have bookmarks for my favourite TLDs and combinations, like this suffix set: https://ask.moe/domain?combinations=able%2Cal%2Can%2Cance%2C...
