Ask HN: Which web apps you think aren't done properly?

Which web apps you think aren't done properly? I want to redo them to make at least $1000 a month
Recently, we had http://www.quora.com/Is-it-hard-to-build-market-and-maintain-a-web-app-that-makes-at-least-1000-a-month? saying that its not difficult to make $1000/month using webapp. Just identify the problem 7 redo them "properly". Even PG said the same thing in his "ideas" essays.
From the day I read these I've been thinking about such webapps. So, Dear community could you kindly share experiences with the webapps you are using. I want to know their pros & cons, so that we can keep the pros & improve the cons.
