Agreed. The yellow would imply a neutral to mildly negative, rather than somewhat positive, sentiment.

Most people seem to choose the worst one anyway, so maybe it would be pointless to break up positive sentiment into finer buckets.

The original HappyOrNot (on which this seems to be based) uses a lime-green 'mildly happy' instead of the yellow 'neutral' on this scale, but is otherwise the same.

It matches up with other customer satisfaction indexes like Net Promoter, but does not share the reasoning net promoter has.. It's pretty common to have the positive scores be a smaller band than the negative. For example, with Net Promoter, 9 and 10 are positive, 6,7,8 are neutral and 0-5 are negative. In the case of Net Promoter, 6,7 and 8 are neutral because mild satisfaction does not correleate with being willing to recommend a business.

Interesting. I'd love to see this broken down further, all the way down to the municipal level in the US.

My last governmental interactions were at the county and municipal level, involving permits and reporting a car accident, respectively. In both cases, the officials I interacted with were polite and professional. I'd be rather curious to know whether the bad interactions with other cities & counties in this state I've had were because of a systemic dickishness or apathy, or I just had the bad luck to get someone having a bad day.

Is this website heavily brigarded or the data just made up? Germany at 85% does not reflect latest Forsa polling[1] (from the top, president, chancellor, government coalition). In fact throughout much of the last year confidence has gone up.
