Twitter Verified Accounts Hijacked for Elon Musk Scam

I am posting this here in the hope a twitter employee will see this and lock the hacked accounts:

This has been going on too long, since 2018, tons of $ stolen. You would think given that hack in 2002 that twitter would have systems in place to prevent this from happening so often.

Somehow they are also able to hack hundreds of accounts for fake likes:

This suggest weak password hashing or insufficient rate limiting on the part of twitter to be able to steal so many accounts over and over
