Didn't they do this in that movie armageddon? Hopefully space-x doesn't know something we don't.
Pretty sure The Boring Company machines will fit in these rockets..
Ha. That's an interesting thought!
It's best shelter possible to have + it can allow fast travel between long-distances (faster than the 1,223 kmph Elon's referenced before with Hyperloop here on Earth due to gravity being lower on Mars).
They did it in the movie Contact
Yes, two simultaneous shuttle launches from neighbouring pads
Watching the two heavy boosters landing on neighbouring pads was similar - except real. It was that shot that made me think “the future is here”
After seeing single boosters land fine I wasn't expecting the dual simultaneous landings to have the emotional effect on me they did, but hot damn!
Like Apophis in 2068?
"The Sentry Risk Table assessed Apophis as having a 6.7-in-a-million (1-in-150,000) chance of impacting Earth in 2068"
Not a fixed estimate since solar radiance has a not insignificant effect on it. 1 in 150k is also not vanishingly small
They also want to be able to refuel super heavy in orbit off another super heavy.
