One of the issues with media consolidation and these mega corps controlling so much is that they're easily coerced. Everyone from the Chinese and the Saudis to BLM and Feminists to Islamic terrorists and North Korea and the "Christian" Right wants a veto.

It's very sad. Aside from a few rule-proving-exceptions everything is gradually getting more and more bland and people are missing out on real events and history. I don't know why people rake it all so personally. I'm Liberal and gay but I don't expect every film to have a favourably portrayed gay couple in.
