Hotwire vs. Htmx – Comparison

It’s a reasonable take for someone who doesn’t know htmx very well.

Hotwire is definitely more progressive enhancement friendly (although htmx has he-boost).

htmx is an attempt to complete html as a hypertext and, as such has a different approach to html-oriented development. Generally I would expect htmx to cover more functionality in a pure hypertext and Hotwire to “just work” more often.
