Ask HN: How can I make Google Search more usable/beautiful?

Goosh is incredible and I would use it in a heartbeat, but its limited (and broken) features keep me returning to the ol' clusterfuck that is the standard results page. Is there an extension or something that makes Google more usable/beautiful for hackers who don't need the web to look like it's 1998 to get around?
