I will start with mine: I have to leave (virtual/home) office in two hours (until after New Year), but I just noticed that a few tables in production database (postgres) seem to be corrupted. :-(

Couple years ago our pipes burst on Christmas Eve. We decided to skip town for a week and hang out in a Washington beach town because it was the offseason so it was kinda cheap.

I realize "Went on vacation for a week" isn't exactly a horror story, but hey it's the best I got.
