I sure hope she can get some good legal help. Thats probably the best way to fight this kind of corruption.

(if it is corruption.. as more of the story comes out it sounds somewhat like she may have overstepped some legal boundaries)

and how does that necessitate the heavily armed raid of her home?

pointed guns at her kids.

Although terrifying, many people in the US won't see that as a problem along the lines of "she broke the law and these are her consequences". I don't know if that's getting too "into the fray" for HN but... whatever... I feel it's important to express this.

As others have posted - here's the video... I think it's important we watch it: https://twitter.com/GeoRebekah/status/1336065787900145665

I hope she gets good legal representation.

EDIT: Yeah there's tons of comments in here that are scarily along the lines of "she broke the law and here are the consequences" - gross. Just gross.

Plenty of people in America think that having your kids put in refrigerated cages is a perfectly normal and justifiable consequence of your commission of a misdemeanor.

Just threatening them temporarily with violent death is nothing compared with that.

That is a problem. It might be poor training. It might be bad policy. It might be personnel who make bad decisions. Or some mix of all three.

But it isn't corruption.

Sure it is. These "personnel who make bad decisions" are accepting money as recompense for their role as mafia enforcers. Just-following-orders is a corrupt moral position which has resulted in the deaths of a lot of innocent people.

I understand that when you think of corruption you are assuming several magnitudes greater recompense but you have to remember how the little folks live.

I didn't see that in the video that was posted, where is the evidence for this claim?

Agreeing with this, but without more evidence it does sound like a case of the quote from Cardinal Richelieu (disputed in origin):

> If you give me six lines written by the hand of the most honest of men, I will find something in them which will hang him.

With the information currently available to the public it does appear like this action by government officials was done out of retribution
