I think Nilay Patel at The Verge talked about constantly accidentally touching it because he is left-handed.

His solution was to disable it completely.

Exactly - I am also left handed. I hope my guitar practice, which I just picked up, will help train my fingers out of octopus mode where they go everywhere. That'll help a bit.

Playing guitar is good for the fingers, but even better for the soul!
