Are the dependencies cached in between sessions? Otherwise if it's a cold build every time, that will probably not make it faster than locally where most of the dependencies are already ready to go. Network calls can be pretty expensive relative to local build computations in general.
In the version 1 the dependencies are not cached. They will be cached in the upcoming version
