Windows ugly sweaters from Microsoft Xbox store

>For every purchase of a Windows Holiday Sweater from the Xbox Gear Shop between December 1, 2020– December 23, while supplies last, Microsoft will donate $20.00 USD to Girls who Code.

Is it not possible to buy a simple sweater without engaging in the US culture war? Especially when it seems like it will raise the cost by these 20$. The sweaters look pretty cool but I'm reluctant to give extra money to support stuff like this because it reeks of discrimination.

The male/female split in our industry is something like 90%/10%. Something is wrong with the status quo and we should fix it.
