Too many people in these comments talking about chances of picking random sequences or randomly choosing runs of numbers.

Not enough people noticing the part where it says "The organisers say the sequence is often picked."

I think that they meant that sequence is often picked by human players of the lottery. (Hence the 20 winners sharing the prize this week.)
