Ask HN: Which iOS apps and services do you pay for?

News Explorer - RSS client that syncs via iCloud (as opposed to others where you need to host or subscribe to a third-party sync service).

AdGuard Pro - a good ad blocker which tends to be more up to date than the competition and I beloeve allows arbitrary uBlock-style filter lists.

Apollo - a good Reddit client without the user-hostility of the official one.

Pythonista - a Python interpreter for iOS, including bindings for certain UI and device features. A more powerful version of iOS' shortcuts.

AllTrails, 1Password, Due, Apollo (Reddit), Tweetbot (Twitter), PocketCasts, Unread (RSS feeds), Bouncie (car), Deliveries, ETA (mainly for their widget), Mozilla VPN, Stoop (newsletters), Weather Line, Wikipanion Plus, IFTTT

The useful apps I have paid for (but not subscribed to) are (1) Dark Sky, (2) Forest, and (3) WaterMinder.

If you have a gift card you can also put it towards an Apple product as well.

Paid for and use nearly daily:

ATracker Pro (time-logging)

Paprika 3 (recipe management)

Due (timed reminders)

Just Press Record (voice recorder)

Day One (journal)

Things 3 (task management)

Copied+ (clipboard manager)

CarbonFin Outliner
