European Parliament Votes for Right to Repair

Everyone's thinking it and I'll say it: Fuck you, Apple.

I'm sure they'll lobby the hell out of members of the EU commission to water down the actual rules so that they don't mean anything anymore. They'll try and somehow they'll come out publicly as supporting this, like they did in the U.S.

I can only hope our politicians have some integrity not to get bribed by big USAian dollars. Don't sell out please.

I wonder if a "good law" making it is just proof that it won't help. Glue them shut, epoxy it in, everything getting smaller anyways. Gives you a lower score, but trying to get the best bang for the buck that score might not move the needle that much and there is no alternative iOS device either.
