Can confirm that it was down for the better part of 5 minutes, but not for some friends in the same city on a different ISP. Will be interesting to see if there's a postmortem.
Please, we don't need "X is down" notifications on HN.
This is seriously the only reason I went to HN right now. If you don't like the post, don't click it, or flag.
