Show HN: Open graph image generator for your GitHub repositories

I made a tool that auto-generates open graph images.

I made it because I work in open source a lot and I was tired of sharing ugly links on Twitter and Facebook. One day I realized GitHub lets you customize them, so I started making some templates.

That eventually turned into a full product. It’s free to use. And it can create some nice open graph images for your open source projects.

I use the GitHub API to pull in a few stats from the repo: stars, language, forks, open issues, creator avatar.

I hope this helps the open source community by giving them a nicer way to share their projects.

This is a good idea. I like the easy-to-use interface and that it's free. Have you thought about making it open source?

I used this on a repository for an open source framework I'm working on and it looks nice [0]. Thank you for building this.
