The important thing to note here, and something I questioned before opening the article, is that their second wave includes hospitalizations and deaths.

So it’s not “sure, they’re not immune, but their exposure to it isn’t anywhere near as deadly for their population”, etc. Instead, they’re experiencing quite a lot of death and hospitalizations, which seems an unfortunate result in their experiment.

I hope they recover from this and many lives are saved from here on, for them.
