What's new in the Citus 9.5 extension to Postgres

I really need to just sit down one day and play with Citus, there is so much interesting work happening with it.

There's a Citus Public Slack for q&a, and a pretty useful Citus technical newsletter to stay informed (monthly) about what's new.

What is the compatibility of Citus and Timescale?

They are currently not compatible.

pg_partman does not have all the features of TimescaleDB, but it uses the built-in partitioning primitives in PostgreSQL.

Will they ever be compatible? Just asking in case someone knows more. I know timescale people are around sometimes.
