The Biden Plan to Combat Covid-19 and Prepare for Future Global Health Threats

Australia controlled virus incidence with 3 key measures:

1. Widespread, free testing

2. Contact tracing so that every positive was tracked down and everyone who'd been exposed was isolated

3. Local lock downs wherever incident numbers rise too sharply, for as long as it takes to get the numbers down

There's no question America can do #1 and #2.

Can/will America do #3?

What's mask compliance like in Australia? I'm in a blue city within a sea of red. Everyone around me uses them, but drive 15 minutes away and you'll get looks for using one.

A week of record days every day, about time.

It's pretty telling that the US still doesn't have a national testing plan for COVID.

Or even proper contact tracing for high density borders.
