Ask HN: What made your company move to Kubernetes?

A friend of mine works at a small startup, ~15 engineers, 3 services/containers.

He said one of the biggest reasons for them to move from ECS to Kubernetes was that people were refusing to go work there because they were not on Kubernetes.

It's crazy because now they have 3 business logic containers and ~20 infrastructure containers to take care of.

What made your company switch?
