Google Play bans third-party app for YouTube alternative BitChute

I'm all for a youtube alternative, but it appears to me BitChute is hiding something here.
Because they didn't provide the screenshot, we're left going "..damn, that sucks, this company says Google shut them off for breaking terms of use, but I can't see if that is true or not because I only have part of the information....oh well..."
If android were like windows and the main distribution channel for apps were the web it would be very different.
In fact, because vendors often make tasteless changes to the mobile OS experience, Vanilla Android is a selling point for Google phones. That Google pays for app-specific security infrastructure and deals with abuse claims is a service which Google provides.
Google should be no more required to spend money supporting BitChute than Apple should be required to support Fortnite; and even Walmart ought be able to quit on a vendor for the mere reason that Walmart feels the good isn't "good enough" for their standards.

Whether or not the web is the main distribution channel for Windows is a story completely up for grabs, and Microsoft is leaning toward their store.
But then Google shouldn't be allowed to limit the capabilities of other app stores - it's that simple.
This is why I got rid of my smartphone. The whole "app" thing is just a power grab. Not that I'm a huge bitchute fan but having one organization decide that most users just shouldn't watch something is super disturbing.

On the day of election.
Bitchute Has Been Deplatformed (twitter.com/bitchute)
The video services are demonstrably still allowed to host the videos. Whether or not they can run for profit is their own problem.
My initial comment IS pertinent to the original post - I succinctly pointed out a great deal of things: The irony of Google banning such and app, the blatant suppression of competitors by Google, the sheer power these corporations have over public opinion, the radical shift in corporate and media policy from "freedom of speech" to overtly suppressing speech they don't like, etc.
I hope you find success with your hate-speech videos.
2. I note that this is hypocritical and heavy handed of google (they used to host the same videos), as well as a rapid shift in the zeitgeist.
3. You start talking about whether bitchute can profit, which seems completely irrelevant (the OP is about a third party app).
Seems pretty clear-cut to me. Oh, and I don't make videos, let alone "hate-speech" videos. I'd say don't slander me, but you're doing a great job showing that the ones advocating for such censorship in the modern US are the villains.
Making billions of dollars WHILE hosting videos is not the same as making billions of dollars BY hosting videos. YouTube operated at a massive loss for a decade.
I'm sorry billionaires are making it more difficult for you to profit through the marginalization of humans who are different than you. Good luck in the future!
Am I talking to a neural network?
Spend more time on your videos. You'll surely be a billionaire soon. I hope whoever the group of people holding you back all suffer the fate you will upon them. #likeandsubscribe
