I would like to have an editor like this but with native vim, emacs, nano, ... modes, so that the user can decide on how to use his blazingly fast terminal editor in an all-in one ecosystem.

Found the Vim emulation of Vscode lacking in some areas, plus I'm pretty sure GP is taking about a text editor in the terminal

It is a bit lacking here and there indeed – my comment was tongue-in-cheek, really. I do find using VSCode with neovim to work better than vanilla vim

Thank you. That looks really interesting indeed. In general, I'm strongly opposed to pre-ordering stuff, but I'll sleep on it and may give it a try.

Do neovim and VSCode integrate in some way? I've never used neovim so I'm curious how you're using these two together
