Indian IT Ministry has no clue about who created their Covid tracing app

It has been downloaded hundreds of millions of times.

Due to heavy criticism, they published a version of the app on Github, but the play store listings and the Github source code do not match at all.

Indian govt has completely exploited covid for financial gains. They set up a fund where people can donate to, heavily advertised it, gave it an official government domain, then later said that it was not a public fund and spending/expenditure from the fund will not be disclosed under the Right to Information Act.
