Apple breaks GPS support and suggests insecure iCloud backup as fix

Apple Health data in iCloud is E2E encrypted, FWIW. Plus, wouldn't using iTunes to backup work just as well?

When stored in iCloud backup, Messages is backed up with a copy of the on-device key. [0] This is what I meant by "insecure".

Backing up locally (to iTunes) is not recommended in the OP and does not resolve the Activity and Health GPS issue with iOS 14 and watchOS 7.

I'm not saying it's wrong per se, but I am unable to tell what the title of this link has to do with the content of the page, which reads to me like a boring minor tech support issue. Anyone have an explanation of why this matters?
