In my experience, your Early Adopters, as few as they may be, can be segmented into subcategories. Finding eager users with a high-risk tolerance is hard. But, when you do find them, it means that you have tapped into a problem that is frustrating and has no good existing solution.
The main insights you should try to get from these users are the following:
- what exactly is their "Job to be Done"? [0]
- what is their existing workflow? are you solving one thing but unintentionally creating problems elsewhere?
- does this person have the authority or decision-making power to commit to your offering?
