Very very cool.

Hopefully society will accommodate those unable to find work as more work is automated.

Driving is dangerous, as well as cooking fast food, construction too . I'd love to have a society where we get rid of all these jobs. But I'm not sure society is ready

Will this really be able to replace wageworkers, or will this just be a passing fad? The price tag and servicing fees may make this inefficient for some joints. Although with some states fighting for higher minimum wages, we might have a case of McDonald's tap-to-order stations again

If the robot can replace two shifts (80 hrs/wk) of workers at $10/hr then the robot pays for itself after nine months. Of course, there's more to breaking even than just the up-front unit cost and the replaced wages, but I can't imagine this robot costing more than a year of wages for one minimum-wage body at a restaurant with long hours.

Strange such simple things are not vertically integrated.

You'd think such arm would be more suited for something more versed like chopped all types of veges into any shape, rather than flipping burgers and lifting fry baskets.
