The 1619 Chronicles

This perhaps is the biggest indictment of the 1619 project, that the most central and controversial claims were quietly scrubbed, without actually acknowledging these flaws or the project's critics openly. At the same time, all the rest of the content in the project that stemmed from that worldview remains in tact. It is scary to see activists and teachers unions pushing for this content to be taught in schools, given its poor scholarship and purposeful ignorance of fact checkers (https://www.politico.com/news/magazine/2020/03/06/1619-proje...).
So far it's all just hyperbolic white supremacist right-wing fox news-speak.
I do understand the seriousness of the situation though -- the 1619 project is an absolutely devastating portrait of america and its white supremacy.
It's a welcome corrective to the lies we still tell ourselves and teach to the children of america.
