As a developer I try to understand issues and the factors/context behind those issues. My take is most developers tend to do that. If you act like that you cannot possibly be conservative or liberal. I have a hard time categorizing myself.
This is going to be a biased survey. Apps like Blind skew in a direction that is the opposite of the prevailing culture in the company, particularly because the users often don’t feel psychological safety in voicing their views in normal channels like message boards within their company.
I don't necessarily buy that, as that only tends to be the case when there's an overt adversarial note where people don't feel like coworkers can succesfully separate politically induced biases from professional/career interactions. Social behavior is a complex thing. While I've run into cases where a particular coworker struck me that way, I can at least say, I've been blessed with supervisors that haven't struck me as bad in that department. I've been wrong before though.

Isn't that the purpose of anonymous survey?
An anonymous survey with the population on Blind is not representative of the more general population at these companies, is my point.
